"The Italian Man Who went to Malta"

One a day I’m gonna to Malta to big a hotel. In a morning I got down to eat a breakfast.

I tell a waitress: “I wanna two pieces of toast.”

She brings me only one piece.

I tell her: “I wanna two piece.”

She says: “Go to the toilet.”

I say: “You don’t understand? I wanna two piece in my plate.”

She says: “You better no piss in a plate, you son of a b*tch!”

I don’t even know the lady and she call me son of a b**ch.

Later.

I go to eat to a bigger restaurant. The waitress brings me the spoon, the knife but no fork. I tell her: “I wanna the fork.”

She tells me: “Everybody wanna f*ck.”

I tell her: “You don’t understand? I wanna the fork at the table.”

She says: “You better not f*ck at the table you son of a b**ch!”

So I go back to my room in a hotel and there is no sheets on the bed. Call the manager. I tell him: “I wanna sheet.”

He tell me: “To go to the toilet.”

I say: “You don’t understand? I wanna sheet on a bed.”

He says: “You better not shit on my bed you son of a b**ch.”

I go to the check out and the man at the desk said: “Peace on you!”

I said: “Piss on you too, you son of a b**ch.”

I’m gonna back to Italia, Arrivederci.

Analysis

What actually happened was a misunderstanding of communication. Pronunciation wrong / different in English, can make the different meanings of the word. A few words on the video that caused a misunderstanding among others:

The the Italian Man said, "2 pieces" the waiter assumed that a visitor said "to piss"
The the Italian Man said, "fork" the waiter assumed that visitors say "fuck"
The the Italian Man said, "sheet" the waiter assumed that visitors say "shit"

Why did it happen?

Language can not be separated in the human life. Every day, communication in human interaction facilitated by the language; language either orally, in writing, to the body language. If someone wants to say something the message, then the language becomes an important tool in delivering the message to the intent of the speaker. However, it often happens, especially in oral communication is, messages sent / delivered, another is understood by the other person because the pronunciation wrong or improper. If the pronunciation error that happens, then the impact is mixed. Maybe there are up angry and irritated because of a misunderstanding.

When learning a language, one of the study is the pronunciation (pronunciation = how words are pronounced). Because it comes from several different countries, one of the obstacles often faced is the pronunciation of words and sentences of different accents. Often, when the intention is to be conveyed little sense, must ask to be repeated until the intent and the message can be understood.

In this situation, It can happen because the Italian Man are not the same pronunciation with the word that should he meant. so the waiter responded to what was said by the Italian Man to the different meanings that lead to misunderstandings.

What can be done to prevent it?

How to prevent the above from happening is to speak the correct pronunciation of the English language, but it also can use the symbols for that other person to understand what we mean. And in here, If there is such a thing, the Italian Man should write down what he means to the paper to the waiter when the Italian Man understands that he meant not understand / do not respond accordance with what he said.
